What Are The Benefits Of Taking MetBen Tablet?
Question: Hi ...Am Mrs.XXXX ...I'm 31yrs now and got married 2 years before and now under infertility treatment...I was diagonised with PCOS last year..and doctor has given me metben tablets ...3 mnths before laproscopy was done for PCOS..and thereafter 2mnths my doctor prescribed ovulation tablets ,progestrone tablets and injection for follicle growth...But this month she said no need to take ovulation tablets and injection it is better to give some rest..and she prescribed vitamine tablets,folic acid,progestrone tablets( Duphaston from the 15th day of the periods ) and also Metben tablets..Am so confused since I have no PCOs after the laproscopy why my doctor prescribed Metben tablet..please advise me doctor whether metben tablet has any other benefits other than compensating PCOS..
