What Are The Chances Of HIV After 9 Years Of Unprotected Sex?
Question: Hi doctor, i am from XXXXXXX XXXXXXX 9 year ago i had a sex with a sex worker, i used a condom given by the sex worker to me, so i donot know the quality of the condom as i was ignorant about hiv. since then i have not tested for hiv. Recently i was going some kind of hiv symtoms like sevior head pain, loss of apetite, loss of fatigue, tiredness,shortness of breath, some kind of infection in the surface of anus which is itching and pain during stool and immedieately i went to govt hospital(ictc) and they did antibody test(hiv1 and hiv2) and both were non reactive, hense they told hiv negative. i was not satisfied so again i did a test in well known private hospital, Apollo, they did ELFA(hiv 1 and hiv2) and i repeated this test twice and for both it came non reactive. Also i have tested for HBS ag and vdrl and result is non reactive.Regarding the infection in anus, i consulted with a dermatologist, he told its piles. i have the below questions
1)Is my result is conclusive that i am hiv negative
2) since its been 9 year after exposer is the antibody and ELFA (ANTIGEN, ANTIBODY DUO)are reliable, will sufficient antibody be present after 9 year to be detected by these mehods OR its too late
3)will you suggest any further testing apart from ELFA. i have heard about PCR DNA/RNA. if yes can you suggest me good hospital in XXXXXXX

Doctor,immediate after exposer i had not tested due to ignorant about hiv, only after 9 year first time tested one in ictc and 2 in apollo ELFA. my question is 1)after 9 year is antibody test conclusive, or further test required like PCR DNA/RNA which will exactly look for hiv
2) is antibody be present after 9 year to be detected by ELFA
3) ELFA will check both antigen and antibody, since its 9year last stage of hiv antigen will not be there, will antibody be present to be detected.

Doctor, any other STD test is required apart from vdrl because vdrl test is non reactive . And as i mentioned in my first question about infection in anus , doctor is telling its piles but my question is is there any test to confirm it because i have read about herps and genital wart. These infection may be due to hiv.could u please clarify.
