Should it be more than 3 days then you should get tested for HIV appropriately. There are many tests for HIV.
1. The latest test is rapid fourth generation test that tests for HIV 1 and 2 antibodies and p24 antigen. The accuracy of this test is more than 97 percent after 12 days.
2. Earlier third generation ELISA tests are also done and this test requires to be done after 3 months and again after 6 months. It tests against HIV antibodies.
You can choose to get tested as per the test available at your place.
Also please get tested for other STD infections after 6 weeks.
