What Are The Chances Of HIV Transmission Through Non Penetrative Sex?
Question: Hi doctor, during the lap dance from a stripper we kissed 3-4 times open mouth not too deep for approximately 3 minutes each. I also touched her vagina during the lap dance for 10 mins. I do not have any any live cuts or sores in my mouth.
Soon after it I went out and washed my hand with Water, soap and sanitizer. And also rinsed my mouth with water and cleaned my tongue with my nails. Will either kissing, touching her vagina through bare hands and scraping my tongue with my bit grown nails (though did it see any visible blood stains on my tongue during that ) cause HIV transmission into my system.
I meant kiss was for about 3seconds each and I only touched the surface of her vagina 3 times during lap dance did not insert my finger inside.
Sorry missed a word, I wanted to mention that I did not see any visible blood stain on my tongue when I scraped it with my nails.

Yes Doctors the response was very helpful, thank you so much. But there are still couple of more concerns which is still bothering me and I really appreciate if you could answer them again. Actually my tongue touched stripper's tongue while we kissed for very short duration of time and I felt she had a piercing in place but not sure. Also, I am not sure if she had any open cuts or sores in her mouth. Also I had bit long nails when I cleaned my tongue after the act and I was bit sure to repeat usage of soap and hand sanitizer before my hand reached my mouth. Though I had rinsed my mouth few times with warm water, I am concerned if deposits in my mouth from kissing or if any deposits from the vaginal fluids in my finger nails might have exposed my open tongue surface. I bleed from tongue very rarely when I clean it with my fingers.
Brief Answer:
It is very unlikely.

As you had said that there were no cuts or sores in your mouth it is very unusual for the transmission of HIV through the way you had mentioned. Don't get scared and allay the fear or anxiety related to HIV. For any further query get back to me again.

Hi Doctor, Thank you for the response again, I just had a concern which was still bothering me a bit, What if during the kissing there was small quantity of blood from the stripper's mouth had entered my mouth's mucous membrane, will this might result in transmission of the virus ?
Though I did not see any blood in her, mouth nor felt it in mine. But our tongue touched for an instance.
Please let me know.
Will Saliva and intact mucous membrane in my mouth act as any defense mechanism in this case, if a small amount of blood of stripper enters my mouth through kissing.

Brief Answer:
No risk of HIV through saliva.

Welcome back once again.
Human saliva is not the fluid which transmits HIV virus. It also contains an enzyme which inhibits the growth of the virus so it definitely acts as defence mechanism against HIV. No need to worry and get anxious at all. You are absolutely safe and risk free
