What Are The Chances Of STD Infection Post Protected Sex?

Question: So I did something stupid the other day and cheated on my regular partner...but I DID use a condom and it did not break. The next day, I had sex with my regular partner, again with a condom that did not break. I know there is probably nothing to worry about, but I read about condoms only "reducing" the risk of STDs, so that is why I am asking...do I have anything to worry about? I guess the shame/anxiety is catching up to me. Last night I was treated prophylactically for gonorrhea/chlamydia, which I realize was probably not necessary, but I don't want to take any chances. I plan to not have sex with my regular partner for a week, but do you think I had anything to actually worry about in the first place, since condoms were used with both partners? I got an STD once (chlamydia) a few years ago and I think I've been paranoid ever since, but that was from unprotected sex. Thanks.
Brief Answer:
You do not have to worry as long as you take precautions.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
I appreciate your concern for the risks of STDs following protected sex.
Well, condoms when used properly and remaining intact till the entire sexual act is completed will not only prevent the unwanted pregnancy but also the sexually transmitted diseases by vaginal intercourse.
Since you have been taking extra precautions while having sex with your regular partner, I think there is no risk of getting the STD.
Hope this answers your query.
Take care and regards.

Thank you very much. I was mainly concerned with acquiring an STD from the partner I don't normally see...and passing it to my "regular" partner. But since I used condoms with both of them, you are saying that is highly unlikely? Just making sure I understand. Thanks again, that is all of my questions.
Brief Answer:
You are welcome.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
My sincere advice, avoid having multiple partners for sexual relations.
