What Are The Chances Of STD Transmission Through Skin Contact?

In addition I masturbated and did also touch them, though not the genital areas (did touch butt cheeks).
Obviously they did not have any visible sores.
My question is, is there much, if any, risk of STDs from this like herpes or HPV which are spread thorough skin contact?
Is it necessary to get tested?
You can assume yourself to be safe from this particular encounter

Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic
I have taken note of your query and I have understood your concern.
STD scan only be passed on by direct contact between sexual partners i.e either Vaginal sex, Anal sex Or Oral forms of sex.
Since there was no direct genital contact with her therefore there is no risk of an STD through this particular sexual act.
The fact that she rubbed her genitals on your legs, it does present a very small risk of extragenital herpes (legs) and HPV but not genital infection.
However, this risk is negligible as organisms causing STD's cannot usually penetrate intact keratinized skin on legs/ thighs.

Risk is minimal and may take up a test though not necessary
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Yes, with extragenital herpes I mean that you could get a sore at the site of innoculation. The same holds true for wart.
Friction from rubbing genitals on skin can facilitate innoculation of STD's like herpes and Hpv.
Though the risk is negligible and theoretical because keratinized skin is tough and moreover she did'nt had any obvious sores.
However, you may get tested at around 4-6 weeks for Herpes with a blood test i.e ELISA for type 1 & 2 Herpes. This is for your own peace of mind.
There is no lab test for HPV and it is not possible to know whether you acquired it unless you develop a wart clinically.
