What Are The Chances Of Hemorrhoid Relapse?
Recovery in 2-3 weeks.
Detailed Answer:
Hello, XXXX. You have undergone a minimally invasive procedure for your Hemorrhoids, so you can get back to work as soon as a week after the procedure depending on how you are feeling and whether you are passing stools normally. The procedure uses heat to cut off the blood supply to the internal hemorrhoids and they get fibrosed or shrink in two to three weeks. You should take it easy for upto three weeks but can resume normal light work after a week unless there is pain or bleeding or discharge, in which case you should see your Doctor again who might want to examine you and prescribe some medicines for the same. The procedure is relatively safe. But, yes it can relapse. The chances are low especially if you keep a healthy high fibre low fat diet and your stools should remain soft. Take care and let me know if there are any other queries.

Just increase fibre and fluid.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX.
Good to know that you are feeling better. That is our ultimate aim. As for diet you should increase your intake of fibre and green vegetables. Fibre in form of fruits and natural foods and lots of salads. Increase your fluid and clean water intake. Decrease intake of saturated fats, carbohydrates and processed foods. No alcohol or smoking. When you stick to such a healthy diet you will know how much of what is good for you by the quality of your stools.
Have a healthy life. Take care.

Good to know. You can resume normal duties.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX. Good to know that you are recovering well. You can resume normal duties. Just avoid sitting for long periods, walking long distances which can be strenuous and constipation. You take care of these things and you would be fine. Do let me know if there are any other queries. Take care.

Your suggestions have been of great help.I am feeling much better than before.Only concern left is the itch in the anal canal.
Suddenly it starts to itch badly and I have to rush to wash.I have not consulted my previous doctor as of now as we are in different cities. I sit on hard chair at work, does that matters? Sometimes I sit for long n sometimes I take breaks.I am currently using Placentrex tube only. sometimes I mix it with Silverkind Nanofine as I was suggested to use that after surgery. But due to itching, I mix both. Kindly suggest on this itching. By the way, I have vericose veins in my legs (right is more effected) if this is of any relation.
Also, I face gastric trouble in the morning after breakfast. I eat home food only and I take Anjeer early morning which is supposed to be best natural remedy for Piles. Stool is ok but it gives a little weird feeling on the side where piles used to exist.Kindly share your thoughts.
Please note that I have stopped alcohol before surgery and it continues but I do smoke.
Stop the ointments. See detailed answer for others
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX, It is nice to know that you feel better with the suggestions.
1. The itch in the anal canal is most likely due to the healing of the wounds or there could be a mild fungal infection. You can get it checked by your Doctor or I would advice that you stop using all ointments and keep the area completely clean and dry so that there is no active fungal growth.
2. Sitting for long periods should be avoided and you should try and change posture frequently.
3. Varicose veins would not affect the Hemorrhoids in any way. But, if you feel any problem due to them then you should visit a Vascular Surgeon for optimum therapy like Laser or RFA or Sclerotherapy. I can help you with that.
4. For your gastric trouble you should take PPIs. I usually advice my patients Tab Pantoprazole 40mg half an hour before breakfast for a month and then stop. You can try that and see the response.
5. Its nice to know that you stopped alcohol but it is equally or maybe more important to stop smoking as it aggravates the gastric problems and so many other diseases that you might have heard of. Please try and give up smoking, you can try the nicotine chewing gums or tablets and there are other ways. But most important is the mental decision to quit. Once you do that you can easily stop and be a healthy person for good.
Take care and I hope I have been able to resolve your queries.
