What Are The Chances Of Loss Of Hearing While Suffering From Sinus Blockage?
There is no risk for hearing loss from change in pressure conditions
Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. There is no risk for hearing loss at all sir and you need not be concerned about this. As for the ear blockage and sinus related issues they should subside with time, or else you can go about a few simple remedies:
+Drink a lot of water
+Avoid swift head movements
+Steam inhalation for at least 15 minutes 2-3 times a day
+Continue with antibiotics and ear drops (preferably)
I would also recommend an auriscope or otoscope just to make sure all is well (especially the ear drum), along with an x-ray PNS. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help.
Best wishes.
Hope this helps sir
Detailed Answer:
Hello once again sir.
1. Blockage due to accumulation of ear wax: (E.g. murine ear drops, waxsol ear drops, etc.)
2. Sinus related ear congestion: Nasal decongesant, any drops containing pseudoephedrine hydrochloride (E.g. ) and blowing your nose regularly
I hope this helps.
Best wishes. :)
