Brief Answer:
The chances of pregnancy are there.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

Thanks for trusting us about your health care.
I can understand your concern here.
The chances of pregnancy are there in your case as you have displaced IUD and had unprotected sex on 8th day of menses( in your case it can be your fertile days as you are having 21 days cycle).
So wait for your menses and consult a Gynecologist for removal of IUD( because it is misplaced).
Revert back to us with your reports.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Brief Answer:
You should remove IUD.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

You should first go and removed your IUD( because it is misplaced) and do not insert it again right now, wait for her next menses.
You can take postinor or emergency pill with in 72 hrs.to prevent pregnancy because the chances of pregnancy are there in your case.
Hope it is useful, if you have no further query please close the discussion and before closing it, kindly accept my answers if found useful.

I took overdose of postinor2 in march and saw my period at the right time but the subsequent bleeding was after 21 days heavier than normal and lasted 8 days. But i dont know if its my menses or the effect of the iud .?Do you think taken postionor2 again in this month may will be ineffective ? I also want to start the 3 month injectable contraceptive after the removal of iud . Pls advise .

Since overdose of postinor 2 has caused my 2nd menses to come in 21 days , does it means the following menses will always be in 21 days ?normally i am 28 or 30 days n my normal bleeding time is 4 days . But the month following the overdose , i had copper iud inserted n my period came in 21days n bleed for 7 days . I was expecting my menses on the 5 may but i had it on 26 th april . Please taking postinor 2 wouldnt it be too much hormones for me ?

Brief Answer:
But it is the only option to prevent pregnancy now.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

Sorry for the long delay in my response.
Postinor is the only option to prevent pregnancy ( if it is there) right now.
Maybe it may cause hormonal imbalance but it may get resolved in 2-3 cycles.
Your period may be disturbed due to copper- T also.
Hope it is useful.
Good luck.
