What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After Taking Plan B Within 10 Hours?

Question: I had unprotected sex on Day 14 of my cycle. I dont know whether or not I ovulated prior to sex. My partner withdrew and, as far as I could tell, did not ejaculate inside of me. I took Plan B ten hours later. However, since I weigh 190 lbs and since I was midcycle (ovulation) I now think XXXXXXX would have been a better choice. It is now 60 hours since unprotected sex and I have obtained XXXXXXX Should I take it? Will it offer any additional protection at this point? I am 42 years old, and I know age also affects fertiility.
Brief Answer:
You can take XXXXXXX
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear and thanks for trusting to us
I understand your concern and I will try to help you.
In fact while your husband hasn't ejaculated inside you and you have used Plan b, chances to conceive are very very low.
But while you have been on midcycle and you are overweight, there are small chances.
I stressed overweight because, as you may have read plan b haven't effectiveness in women over 175 it'.
Hence in my opinion you can take XXXXXXX while you are on time.
Yes fertility decreases with increasing age, but if your cycle is regular, you still ovulate.
All the best

Hi Doctor - Just to clarify, you think that it would be okay to take XXXXXXX 2 days after I took Plan B? Is it possible that they could "cancel eachother out" since one is progestin and the other is a progestin inhibitor?
Brief Answer:
They don't interact with each other
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear again and thanks for your query.
If the mechanism of action is different it doesn't mean that they interact with each other and make the effect low.
But as I mentioned above, while you are overweight and plan b lost its effect, to be safe better take XXXXXXX
