What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After Unprotected Intercourse Through Withdrawal Method?
I have a situation here. My boyfriend inserted penis slightly inside me for few seconds and then he removed and had ejaculation. This happened on the 11th day since my periods. My period started on 5th February and ended on 14th Feb. And this incident happened on 15th.
What are the chances of being pregnant?
The chances of conception are very less.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
At the outset, let me inform you that ovulation occurs two weeks prior to the onset of the next period. This is the fertile period when intercourse can cause conception.
Sperm can remain active for 5 days after ejaculation while the ovum remains alive for 24 hours only. So, if unprotected intercourse occurs during this period, pregnancy can happen. During this period, even the pre-ejaculate can cause conception as it contains enough sperm.
In this scenario, if you happen to have had intercourse during the safe period, you need not worry. If you have 28-30 day cycles, your ovulation would fall around the 18th. This means you had the intercourse during the fertile period, yet, the chances are slim as it was not very close to the day of ovulation.
Please wait until you are due for your next natural period. Get further help if you miss it by a week.
Hope I have clarified your query. Please feel free to contact for further information. I will be happy to help.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Ovulation is not regular in PCOD, even if it occurs. This means that you may or may not have ovulated this cycle. Cycles can still be regular even with anovulation. Thus, your chances of conception are very little.
If the hyperthyroidism is corrected with medication, this should not be a problem.
Your BMI is high, around 28. You have to see that it comes down to the normal range. This should be done through diet and exercise. This also helps in the correction of the PCOS.
Just wait for your next period and go for further assistance if you become overdue by a week. Please remember that stress can alter the menstrual cycle by influencing the hormone balance.
If ovulation can be predicted with accuracy, practicing safe period helps to lower the pregnancy risk. This can be aided by using barrier contraception.
Hope this helps.
