Question: I started my birth control one week late and had sex on saturday. I found a condom inside of me tonight. Do I need to be worried about getting pregnant?

Brief Answer:
Very less chances of pregnancy.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Since you started your birth control late by one week, you are not protected against pregnancy in this cycle. A left over condom is less likely to cause a pregnancy but the possibility cannot be ruled out entirely. You need to wait till your periods and in case the periods are delayed do get a pregnancy test done to find out.
