What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy Through Non Protected Sex?
Question: I am 24 years female, on 5th August I had sex with my bf without protection, my periods date is: 8 to 8, Am worried that i am pregnant, can i use some medicine now or do pregnancy test. kindly advise i am worried.

Ovulation occurs generally at the middle of the cycle means if your period starts from 8th July and if we assume you have normal regular period then we can say your ovulation would have been around 22nd July month.
Now, ovulation can be prefix or postfix on 3 days prior or later to that, means it can also occur in between 19th July to 25th July.
And ovum can stay alive up to 5 days maximum inside the uterus.
Now,if you had a unprotected intercourse on 5th August,then you will be on non-fertile days of that menstrual cycle from above calculation.
So,I do not think there is any possiblity of fertilization here if you have told your dates exactly.So there is almost no chance pregnancy here.
So,no need to take any medicines or no pregnancy tests required.
