What Are The Chances Of Re-occurrence Of Breast Cancer?

Question: Had breast cancer 7 years ago (Stage 1) Had my annual today and they want me to come back tomorrow . Only one view shows something in my right breast (my cancer was in my left). They want to take acouple more x-rays. They said it was good news if it only showed in one picture. But because of my history they want to be cautious and check it out
Brief Answer:
Bilateral mammography
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Since your cancer was in your left breast and one view showing something in your right breast you do not need to worry.
You must do bilateral mammography test to rule out recurrence of breast cancer completely.
Since you are not having any nipple tenderness or a lump or thickening in or near the right breast or underarm area i do not thing there is a recurrence of breast cancer and it could be a benign cyst.
