By SCS you mean Saethre–Chotzen syndrome, or Spinal Canal Stenosis?

Magnetic field ( pulse ) is used to treat some of the spine and orthopedic conditions with the scope of bone healing.

In case of Spinal Canal Stenosis, use of magnetic field doesn't result in improving symptoms, but there are no evidences about negative effects.

Sorry wrong question. By SCS I meant Spinal Cord Stimulation. The question I meant to ask was what effect a magnetic field from power lines or welder etc. can have on the SCS?

Magnetic field could interfere with device function.

Magnetic field doesn't have any negative effects on spinal cord itself, but can interfere with the device used for SCS and its functions.

Magnetic field can interfere with the pulse generated from SCS device too.

So, it is advisable to avoid areas or devices that produce magnetic fields.
