Question: What happens if I stop methylprednisolone early (day 4 pill 3) due to extreme side effects?
Any long term effects on adrenyl or other systems?

I do not generally encourage that patients stop medications without talking to the prescribing physician. because the offices are closed, I will encourage you to talk to your doctors as soon as they return to their offices.

There would be very little chances of any long term effect on your body system as you have taken the drugs for a very short duration. Also, it would be rare to have any significant withdrawal side effects from this.

In all, there would be little consequences stopping the medication. However, get to your doctors as soon as possible so that they can prescribe a new medication for the condition you are being treated for.
