What Are The Effects Of Taking Alcohol And Librium Together?
Question: What effects will alcohol and Librium have when taken together?
Brief Answer:
not great
Detailed Answer:
They are not a good combination like any benzodiazepine and alcohol. Benzodiazepine in general and librium especially have a really really high safety range--it takes a really large amount to be fatal. BUT taken with alcohol, they , and librium can give a fatal overdose...you stop breathing.

Thank you. That shows me a more specific effect.
Brief Answer:
Quite welcome
Detailed Answer:
They are both central nervous system depressants though acting somewhat differently. The depression from each mixes together badly. Small amounts of each, while not fatal, will also make one much sleepier if added together.
