
What Are The Effects Of Typhoid Infection On Sperm Quality?

Question: My wife got pregnant while I had Typhoid fever (unbeknownst to me at that time).
2weeks after my hospitalization and antibiotics treatment, my stool and widal tests have shown negative, and my wife's stool test (no widal test) have also shown negative. However, I am still conerned about the baby and the effects of typhoid fever on sperm, etc.

1) She is 29
2) the fetus is 4 weeks old as of today (conception was most probably on July 18th)
3) I (father of the fetus) was not taking any treatments on July 18th. Treatments started on July 20th with intravenous antibiotics for 4 days at a hospital followed by antibiotic medication for 5 days (do not know the exact name od the treatment).
