What Are The Exact Days We Should Try For Successful Conception?
Question: Hi Doctor, we are trying to conceive and we are trying from last two months during the Ovulation time, however, we are not able to conceive.
I have few questions:
1> What are the exact days we should try for successful conception?
2> We had medical/medicine-based abortion in past, is that affecting the conception?
3> Should we be worried if the last two attempts during the ovulation time did not succeed?

Brief Answer:
Daily trial from day 12 to 18 is needed for 6 months.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Conception might take 5-6 months of regular adequate trial even if both husband and wife are healthy.
1. You should try from day 12 till day 18 of a regular 28 day cycle. At least daily intercourse is necessary for a successful conception.
2. After a medicine based abortion you should wait for at least 6 months before planning for conception.
3. Trying only for 2 months is not enough. No need to worry.
Hope this answer is helpful.
Any further queries are welcome.
