What Are The Long Term Effects Of Taking Losec ?
Question: I am taking 20 mg of Losec per day for reflux, when is the best time to take it, can one safely increase the dosage and are there long term effects taking it?

For reflux losec has to taken upto 2 months.If the symptoms are severe use 1 cap twice daily for 7 days then continue 1cap daily in empty stomach for 2 months.
Avoid too spicy,too hot, too sour foods. Dont be in empty stomach for more than 3hrs. Dont lie down immediately after taking feeds.
Losec can be safely used for prolonged period without any side effects. Its a very safe drug.
