Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for posting your query.
Enbrel is etanercept,it is a biological medicine which is used for treating inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. Intacept Injection blocks the TNF (tumor necrosis factor alpha) that causes inflammation.
Etanercept works by decreasing a certain protein produced by the immune system. The immune system helps the body fight infections. In people with autoimmune disorders, the immune system mistakes the body's own cells for invaders and attacks them.
This is very effective treatment.
The drug is especially dangerous for people with chickenpox. It can also lead to nervous system problems such as sclerosis and seizures. It can also weaken the heart and lead to heart problems. It should be avoided by people who are allergic to latex, are pregnant or are planning to do so, have been in close proximity to a person with chicken pox.

Etanercept works by decreasing a certain protein produced by the immune system. The immune system helps the body fight infections. In people with autoimmune disorders, the immune system mistakes the body's own cells for invaders and attacks them.

Etanercept is used to treat the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, or ankylosing spondylitis, and to prevent joint damage caused by these conditions. It is also used to treat plaque psoriasis in adults and polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis in children who are at least 2 years old.

Etanercept may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Hello.

There are also several ways for patients to self-administer ENBREL after receiving training from healthcare providers.
Prior to self-administration, patients should receive injection training from a health care professional and refer to the Instructions for Use. ... The AutoTouch device should be requested through your rep (once per patient).
