What Are The Long Term Side Effects Of Taking Plan-B After Unprotected Intercourse?
Question: Hello
I took Plan B on 6/18 after having unprotected sex and him finishing in me on 6/17. I spotted 4 days later on t hursday and got a full period immediately after that lasted almost a week. However, it is now a few weeks later and my stomach seems to be getting odd feelings as if a bubble is popping..that kind of sensation and a "nervous" "butterfly" feeling. Is this a long term side effect?

Brief Answer:
Short term effect
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
All the bloating, popping feeling is due to the gaseous distension caused by the plan B or levonorgestrel.
It is a short term effect and will remain there for 3-4 weeks maximum.
There is nothing to worry.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
