What Are The Negative Effects Of Frequent Use Of Formonide?
Question: Some times in the night I feel due to heavy dinner I have breathing tightness. I take of my own Formonide 100 inhaler one puff. After that I have good sleep. Please suggest am I right taking the inhalation.

Formonide 100 contains Formoterol, a B2 agonist drug used to clear respiratory passages in respiratory disorders.Kindly also consult a physician.
Usually the dosage is twice a day as and when required.It has almost no side effects on prolong usage and gives relief in obstructive respiratory diseases.
However, i suggest kindly get an ECG and Echocardiography to rule out cardiac causes of breathlessness after dinner.
Also kindly consult a physician and get a pulmonary function test done along with Chest Xray to find out the respiratory cause of tightness of chest.
