Brief Answer:
All investigations I request for before joint replacement are listed

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. The pre-op screening tests include the following:

+Complete blood count
+Urine analysis
+Blood glucose profile
+Blood pressure monitoring
+Thyroid profile
+Xray of the hip to be operated
+EKG (ECG)
+Blood group and Rh typing
+Along with these, depending on your medical history (i.e. if you have any chronic conditions), further tests to check on those conditions will also be conducted in case they may interfere with the plan of surgery

This is about it, nothing more really required. If all these parameters are normal, a physician will give you the go ahead for surgery. If any parameters are found to be abnormal, an attempt for correction or stabilisation may take place for a day or two depending on which parameter is abnormal.

I hope you find my response helpful. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.
