Im sorry. Ive posted the question 2x already and no one has responded. So thank you for seeing this plea, and i will ask my question again. My daughter is 16. She just received a prescription of Gabapentin. I read the directions wrong. I thought it read to give her 300 mg x 3 for 3x a day. So 2700 mg. What i realized tonight is that it actually says to take one 300 mg tablet 3x daily...so 900 mg. I have messed up 10 days in a row.
Is she in any danger?
Is she in any danger?

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Firstly thanks for choosing health care magic for your query.
Have noted all your details ,
According to texts
A lethal dose of gabapentin was not identified in mice and rats receiving single oral doses as high as 8000 mg/kg.
Signs of acute toxicity in humans are-
ataxia, labored breathing(breathlessness), ptosis(drooping of eye lid), sedation, hypoactivity, or excitation.
Researchers have tried Acute oral overdoses of gabapentin up to 49 grams without any lethal event.
In acute overdoses symptoms were double vision, slurred speech, drowsiness, lethargy, and diarrhea were observed. All patients recovered with supportive care.
Please report if you kid has any of the following symptoms ,in that case hemodialysis has to be done.
In case you have any more query feel free to question.
