Brief Answer:
No significant side effects if you have taken losartan again in the night

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Thanks for writing in to us.

1. Losartan is a medicine given for high blood pressure and is angiotensin II receptor antagonist which prevents the blood vessels from constricting and maintains blood pressure.

2. Losartan has half life of 2 hours and the active metabolite has half life of 6 to 9 hours and therefore if you have taken 100 mg in the morning then very little amount is there in your system and your accidental consumption of another dose will not cause any significant harm. By morning most of the extra dose of medicine will be out of your system.

3. Taking losartan double dose in one day (with 12 hours between doses) once will not cause any observable side effects. However please continue the regular dose from tomorrow morning and avoid repeating double dose again.

Note: If you have taken any other medication with the second dose of losartan then please let us know and we will provide more accurate information.

Hope your query is answered.
