What Are The Repercussions Of Overdoing On Azithral Syrup?

Question: hello, my daughter has been prescribed azithral 100 syrup , 1 dose of 5ml daily for three days. but accidntally she was given two doses of azithral sameday though with a gap of 12 hrs. will there be any side effect. my daughter is 1 and half years old and weighs 9.5 kgs

Give one dose of antacid and skip next dose

Hi
I understand your concerns but don't worry. This won't harm your kid. You may give Her a dose of antacid such as half tablet of junior lanzol (15 mg) once to avoid associated gastritis and skip the second day scheduled dose of azithral. Give the third day dose of azithral as planned thereafter.
