Question: Hi, today unknowingly i took thyronorm 100 mg tablet from a bottle which expired in XXXXXXX 2015. Is there any side effect as i just took one.

If you have taken one thyronorm 100 mcg tablet with date of expiry XXXXXXX 2015 then it is less likely to cause any serious side effect. However you should be cautious and report to your doctor immediately if you experience any symptoms like nausea, giddiness, vomiting, loose stools, skin rashes, pain in abdomen and any other discomfort over next few hours to days.

Thyronorm contains natural thyroxine replacement and 100 mcg is a small dose to cause side effect due to taking expired medicine. Please avoid this mistake from happening again.
