What Are The Repercussions Of Toddler Accidentally Consuming Montair?
Question: my 2.5 years daughter has eaten 3tablets of montair 4.what should i do

Hi...Please do not panic. Nothing will happen. Doses less than 4.5mg/kg body weight do not cause any toxicity. I will suggest you the danger signs which you have to be on the look out for -
1. Nausea and vomiting.
2. Hyperactivity.
3. Thirst
4. Sleepiness
5. Dilated pupils
6. Stomach pain.
If these appear then approach the nearest emergency room.
I have gone through medical literature and there have been case reports of a 3 year old with 80mg unintentional intake and 5 year old with 135mg of unintentional intake of Monteleukast and both cases did not have any symptoms. When compared to these cases what your kid has ingested is nothing. So do not worry.
