Brief Answer:
Risks

Detailed Answer:
Some men who receive testosterone replacement have side effects. These can include:

●High amounts of red blood cells
Blood clots (but this is rare)
●Body changes that sometimes happen in the pre-teen and teen years, such as:
1 Acne
2 Breast enlargement
3 Aggressive behavior – This is more common in boys and teens who have testosterone replacement than in adult men who have the treatment.

●A possible increase in the risk of heart attack or stroke – Experts are worried that testosterone treatments might increase the risk of heart attacks and strokes in some men. This has not been proven, but doctors are careful about when to suggest testosterone, especially in older men.
Men who have testosterone replacement need regular exams and blood tests to check testosterone levels and look for any side effects.
