Brief Answer:
About oral antidiabetics to be used in renal failure;

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Trajenta (linagliptine) is the only oral antidiabetic that is approved to be used in this stage of kidney failure.
But, It is a DPP4 inhibitor and may have acute pancreatitis as a side effect as all the other medications of this class do.
Meanwhile you may continue taking glipizide but you should know that it may cause weight gain and hypoglycemia.

Hope the information will help.
Best wishes,
Dr. Mirjeta
