Brief Answer:
Apoaequorin is a protein supplement

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

This protein supplement is believed to be able to help in a healthy brain function and it is only marketed as a supplement under the brand name prevagen. Aequorin or apoaequorin is a useful tool in molecular biology in determining Ca2+ levels.
As in most natural or artificial supplements, they come with little or no side effects as they are naturally occurring and can be taken as food. But how ever, too much of anything could become a problem to your health, so do take with regulation and with your doctor's supervision.

Hope this helps and wish you the best.
