Question: Has begun atorvastatin and there is mental confusion and memory issues. How do you tell if it's the atorvastatin or something like stroke?

Thank you for your previous reply! Is forgetting how to log in to email and count to 20 examples of side effects of atorvastatin? It seems to come and go, but people notice the confusion. If confusion is that significant, do you just lower the dosage to help the side effects?

dear Sgh, yes memory problems and confusion can be that severe on taking atrovastatin. the dose range between 10-80mg daily. the dose depend on why you are taking atrovastatin, either to lower cholesterol level or for heart problems. yes you should lower the dose to avoid side effects.
