Hi. I just wanted to clarify . Would the smell be pretty much there most of the time and not just when I use the spray ? Could that be one of the long term effects ? I decided to stop taking it to see if it makes a difference . Thanks .
Brief Answer:
try fluticasone or mometasone
Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
Thanks for considering my answer and for your follow up.
Most often, its after the spray.
In my opinion, you can change the brand which contains different steroid (fluticasone or mometasone- both are equally effective in allergic rhinitis with polyps). Kindly take approval from your treating doctor, before changing the component.
Do not stop the sprays, complications like recurrence or extension into sinuses is more common with nasal polyps.
All the best. Take care.
