Lab test verified C. Difficile. Take Metronazide 3 times daily for 2 weeks. My diarrhea has passed but my stool still does not look even close to normal and my urine is a dark color about half of the time

Hi and thank you for follow up.
I read carefully all you history and I can say as follows:
1.With regards to the fact that your stools are not totally normal, I can say that it is normal since you have done gut bacterial misbalance too.
This is why I sugget sto use probiotics too .After a couple of days it will be normal again.
2. You are reporting that you have dark colure urine.I need to ask you if you ar etaking plenty of water and liquids during the day?
On the other hand metronidazole has side effect "dark urine". The re is nothing to be worried because it will pass after you stop the medicine.
