Question: 2month old baby by mistake is given 2 ml of mucolite twice a day for 4 days what can be done .. no side effects except lose motions

Mucolyte contains Ambroxol and is comparitively safe drug in children. 2 ml twice a day for a baby weighing 4-5 kg is not a toxic dose.
I won't get worried if baby is active, accepting feeds well, passing urine and there is no vomiting. Just watch for any abnormal symptoms and if you notice any please consult your pediatrician.
