dose can be increased.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HealthcareMagic.
You are taking 50mg zoloft for depression. There is only slight improvement in symptoms after 1 month of treatment.
Zoloft is safe in 100mg doses and the dose can be increased to 100mg (only under your treating doctor's supervision) as there is only partial improvement in symptoms.
Hope this answers your query satisfactorily.

My GP has not your experience what would you recommend?
Brief Answer:
I would recommend a dose increment.
Detailed Answer:
In my opinion, dose can be increased. But your GP should know about your dose increment. You should also request him to do that as the present dosage is not having the required effect it is supposed to.
The maximum recommended dose of zoloft is 200-250 mg.
Dose can be titrated upwards depending on the response.
Hope this helps.
