What Are The Side Effects Of Zolpidem?
Question: What are the side effects of Zolpedem or popular name Zolfresh. I have been taking it from last 5 years 5 mg at night under medical advice of Doctor. Doctor has adviced me to gradually come out of this medicine but am not able to sleep without this medicine.
Doctor has also adviced me to take Escitalopram Oxalate 10 mg to come out of Zolfresh but still am not able to sleep without Zolfresh.kindly guide side affects of long use of Zolfresh

zolpidem tartrate is a sedative-hypnotic drug used to treat patients with insomnia and other problems with sleeping like maintaining sleep.
Common side effects of Ambien CR include daytime drowsiness, headache, dizziness, weakness, feeling "drugged," lightheadedness, tired feeling, loss of coordination, stuffy nose, dry mouth, nose or throat irritation, nausea, constipation, diarrhea, upset stomach, muscle pain, depression, and unusual thinking, including thoughts of self-injury, anxiety, aggression.
long term consumption leads to worsening of above said symptoms and excessive dependence and abuse. Rarely, after taking this drug, people have gotten out of bed and driven vehicles while not fully awake ("sleep-driving).
