Question: My wife was trying to give insulin to our cat and accidentally injected her thumb. Should she go to an emergency room or what amount would be considered dangerous.

Watch out for hypoglycaemia

Thanks for the query

There are chances that your wife might land up with hypoglycaemia.
I recommend that she eats sugar or a sugary sweet in order to prevent that. It might not warrant going to the ER however the danger signs are

1. excessive sweating
2. loss of consciousness
3. jittery feeling
4 tremors of the hand
