But let me tell you that diatomaceous earth is a combination of diatom, algae etc and are used commercially as insecticides. They have more adverse effects than good effects in human.
You have done a full course of metronidazole as you have said. This will take care of your parasite infestation. Bloating feeling is seen in some following metronidazole treatment. You can take plenty of fluids orally, loads of dietary fibers and tab pantoprazole- domperidone once daily before breakfast for 10days. Take light non spicy non oily diet. Get a blood test for eosinophil count done to rule out sustained parasite infection.
