Brief Answer:
Details below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
1. You may have discomfort, watering and redness of the eye(s) after the operation. However, these symptoms will get better within a week or two. The chances of infection bleeding and pain after the surgery are also there.
2. The squint may come back after few years. The results of the operation can't be guaranteed and further surgery is sometimes needed. You may have a slipped or lost eye muscle. This can need a further corrective surgery.
You may have some double vision for sometime after the surgery.
3. A root canal treatment taken 10 months ago will not affect the squint surgery.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
