What Are The Side Effects Of Using Mosquito Repellent?

Question: hi doc, just wanted to know the side effects of using mosquito repellent
my son is 5 months old and in this rainy season there are lots and lots of mosquitos. I use Spray and coil in the room when no one is in the room and use electic mosquito repellent all day and night.
i understand there will be side effects but there are so many mosquito borne diseases too :(

There are side effects associated almost with every substance. The electric mosquito.repellent have almost negligible side effects except for they can very rarely cause mild allergic reaction. Liquid repellents used on skin can also allergic reactions like rash, itching or burning sensation. Sprays and coils are associated with a bit more side effect that is along with allergies are also responsible for causing respiratory symptoms like asthma or cough. Use nets and try to spray on the grass to eliminate the eggs.

What about the products/computer apps which emits ultrasonic sound waves to repell Mosquitos?

Thanks for the query.
The ultrasonic waves are not that much effective in repelling the mosqwuitoes howeeaer they are safest in use with no side effects. Applying lubricants on skin also repels mosquitoes.
