Brief Answer:
"Green" peripheral part seems infected.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.
I have read your question and understand your concerns.
I saw the wound picture too.
In my opinion, almost 90% of the wound is healing.
The "green" part at wound periphery seems to be infected, so that part needs to be excised microsurgically, in order to prevent infection spread.
Hope this helps. I remain at your disposal for further questions and clarifications.
Best regards.

Thank you Dr,
Can I simply apply bacitracin to further prevent the spread of infection?
I have no insurance as I cannot afford it

Brief Answer:
There is no emergency.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.
It is possible, not entirely sure, that the wound will heal without cleaning the infected part.
In my opinion, after approximately one week, the crusty part will go down and will take with it infected part too.
So, let's put it this way: go on with keeping the wound clean and medicate with bacitracin, if you notice any spreading of infection such redness, warmth, swelling, you should have medical evaluation.
Hope I helped you. Wishing you good health.
