What Are The Signs And Symptoms Of Herpes?

Question: Hello doctor
I had protected sex last week with someone I met at a bar. We also indulged in taking shower together but no sex of anykind (oral or direct). I also masturbated thrice last week. Yesterday morning I saw this pinkish purple painless spot on my penis head. No discharge, no pains or spots anywhere else on the body.
I am very worried that it can be herpes or syphillis. I also have a thick foreskin and remember I did not clean up after my sex right away until morning (but i had condoms on all the time).
I am attaching a picture, please help me out

Brief Answer:
Please don't worry. There is no reason for concern.
Detailed Answer:
Hello! I have been through your question.
I have seen the attached picture and based on your history (protected sex and just take a shower together) I think that this pinkish purple spot in your glans penis has not relation with syphilis or herpes (HSV 2) symptoms.
Furthermore I think that this spot maybe could be as a result of friction (little trauma because of thick foreskin) during masturbation.
Please don't worry there is no reason for concern.
I hope my answer helps you.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
follow-up consultation
Detailed Answer:
Hello! Thank you for writing back,
As you've mentioned that you don't have pain or concern I think it is not necessary to use any medications, cream, and pills.
So, it needs just a few days for the spot to heal and disappear without any treatment. Just be vigilant during this period, and let me know how you stay in the due course.
I hope my answer helps you.
I wish you a quick recovery.
Regards.
