What Are The Skipped Heart Beats I Experience While Sitting Or Lying Down?
Question: I have been having palpatations. It just feels like a skipped beat. I feel them mostly when sitting or lying down. I went to my Doctor, and he did an ecg which came back normal, and bloodwork also came back normal. I have to go for an echo cardiagram next week and also holter monitor next week. I have had this before years ago, and at that he said it was benign pvc's. Should I be overly concerned? Should I be reassured that ecg was normal, and bloodwork was normal?
Brief Answer:
Benign PVC's are certainly not harmful
Detailed Answer:
Hello Ma'am
I can certainly understand your concern
I have worked through your attached query in detail
Benign PVC's are certainly not harmful.
Normal ECG and blood work up are reassuring.
But ECHOCARDIOGRAM and Holter monitoring are more essential and confirmatory.
Review with reports to determine further course of action action.
Limit intake of coffee and tea.
Reviewing the reports with a Cardiologist is most essential.
Post your further queries if any
Thank you
