Question: Hello -- I'm am currently undiagnosed, but have been experiences persistent microhematuria for over 18 months since it was first found on a routine test. I have since had a clear cystoscopy and imaging, but the blood still persists daily along with some intermittant dysuria. I am 40 years old, and it seems that the symptoms are taken a little lightly because most often serious issues in these cases happen to older adults. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Microscopic hematuria is common

Detailed Answer:
Hi?

Microscopic hematuria is very common and no cause for concern, especially since the CT scan and cystoscopy was normal. Do you experience problems emptying your bladder in any way?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
