Brief Answer:
if symptoms severe, should be seen

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

DVT would normally present with swelling, pain, tenderness, increased warmth and redness of the affected leg.

Some cases of DVT can result in PE formation. PE presents with severe chest pain and shortness of breath. The pain usually starts suddenly and is associated with an increase in heart rate, profuse sweating.
It would not normally be associated with back pain.

If your pain is severe and the shortness of breath also significant then it is possible that it is a PE and you need to consider visiting your doctor or ER as soon as possible to rule out PE.

Chest discomfort, mild shortness of breath and back pain can also occur with other illnesses such as viral infections (flu, cold), trauma, bacterial upper respiratory tract infections.

If your limbs were adequately examined and DVT ruled out then PE would be less likely.

Summary: (1) if there is significant pain and shortness of breath you should be evaluated as an emergency as soon as possible
(2)if the symptoms are not severe, then you can consider monitoring and also contacting your doctor's office for advice and appointment to be seen
If the DVT was negative then PE unlikely

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
