Detailed Answer:
Hi dear.
Most women and men with chlamydia do not have symptoms. The time between exposure to chlamydia and the start of symptoms—the incubation period—may range from days to months. If symptoms appear, it is usually 1 to 3 weeks after sexual contact with an infected person. It is 90% likely that you are having viral infection such as respiratory syncytial virus, para influenza virus, adenovirus, etc. These infections are usually self limiting and do not respond to antibiotics. The patient usually is prescribed antibiotics to avoid complications due to superimposed bacterial infection. The treatment required is NSAID like paracetamol to relieve fever and bronchodilators and cough suppressant. Advised to take protein rich balanced diet with multivitamins and plenty of fluids.
Take care.
Don't worry.
