Brief Answer:
When was the last time you had a bowel movement?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this pain that you have reported. I have reviewed your information fully and these symptoms are caused by constipation. I would like to know what drug you tried and it didn't work.

Constipation is managed by eating much vegetables, fruits, fibers and increased fluid consumption. Regular exercise also helps with regulation bowel movements. However, this would not help if you have been unable to stool for a number of days and probably tried laxatives without success. It may be necessary to get an enema to help remove the already present hard stool followed by the above measures to help regularise the bowel movements.

At your age, I would also be concerned of possible diverticulosis which is often favored by constipation. Ask your doctor about this and hear what the response is. Whether they have actually thought about it or not.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
