Question: What are all the symptoms of fibromyalgia ? I have all pressure points, nausea upon eating,& most of the day but not at night, also have pain in muscles, joints, foggy-ness in thinking, .this last year I have felt like I have a bad case of flue,Most of the time. When I feel like this, I don't like to reading, do paper work for the farm, or watch T V. I have a A personality! I have always worked hard and love being busy. this flustrates me!

I decided to go on a Quest? I want to know if there is anything else that I can do Also since Thanksgiving day I meet a Doctor's wife who we just met, who told me about a Mayo Clinic Diet that helped her Fibremylagia, which is low Sugar, no Milk products, no Gluten, and I went on it and after about 2 week ,I felt almost normal again ! Hurray! Now in the last part of april I started to feel these attaches coming back again!I told my Husband of 59 yearsa, that I now know what is to feel almost normal. I made an appointment with my ear dr for light headedness, then with Cardiologist, Then with Neurologoist, then with Gastroenterologist. I have the last appointment with the finals of that testing on the 19 th of May none of the drs .have found anything so far.

Brief Answer:
Symptoms of Fibromyalgia

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

I understand your concern. You seem to have done quite a bit of research on this, and in my opinion, you are right in thinking that these are symptoms of Fibromyalgia.
This is a condition which is not yet fully understood, but is found to be related with: 1. infectious diseases, especially viral ones, which seems to support an autoimmune theory, and 2. prolonged emotional and physical stress and anxiety, which seems to be supported by the fact that it is more common in type A personalities. The mechanism for this condition seems to be an exaggerated interpretation from the brain of pain stimuli coming from the body.
The Mayo Clinic diet has shown to be effective in a large number of Fibromyalgia sufferers, and also in many other conditions with an autoimmune basis.
Light daily exercises and especially yoga, has been proven very effective in people with this condition, by increasing muscle relaxation and pain threshold.
Lastly, Fibromyalgia is an exclusion diagnoses, meaning that it is diagnosed by first ruling out other diseases and conditions, so I commend you for seeking the opinion of doctors first.
I hope this helps.
I'd be happy to answer any further questions you might have.
Wishing you good health and all the best.
